backstory
benson is an anthropomorphic gumball machine who works as a park manager. he is a hothead and gets mad frequently at the main characters, mordecai and rigby, because they don't do their work and often destroy the park with random outerworldly entities. in later seasons, benson gets more love and personality, showing him as a former star drummer, champion stick hockey player, and cat enthusiast.
